Job Description

NewsCred is looking for a Regional VP of Sales to lead and manage our growing Enterprise Sales Executives who are calling on the country’s top brands and agencies. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue with new clients, develop, hire, and mentor high performing Enterprise Sales Executives. S/he will work cross-functionally with stakeholders across the company to drive success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage Account Executives (AE) teams in the NYC office reporting to NewsCred’s CEO and SVP of Sales
  • Meet quarterly sales quota and activity targets
  • Define and develop territory, vertical, and outreach strategies
  • Actively manage a growing team and track individual performance within the Sales Team
  • Manage deal flow and pipeline for both current and next year targets
  • Deliver accurate forecasts on a quarterly and annual basis
  • Identify, hire, mentor, and coach high-performing AEs
  • Engage with internal stakeholders - Client Services, Marketing, Content, and Executive Teams - on customer/sales proposals, campaigns, programs, customer events, etc.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years senior management experience in enterprise sales, managing at a regional or national level with proven year after year quota achievement. Has experience scaling sales team to 50+ 
  • 7+ years’ experience selling complex software into Fortune 500; ideally within vertical markets such as CPG, Luxury, Travel, Finance, Banking, Technology and Retail
  • Metrics-driven and analytical; deep familiarity with Salesforce
  • Ability to perform and thrive in a fast-paced, high-performing environment; able to think strategically and execute tactically
  • Passionate about customer success through demonstrated executive relationships, a track record of long-term trusted partnerships
