Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace is looking for a Sous Chef!

Full time, hourly, benefited position

RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Places primary importance on delivering superior customer service.

• Dedicated to exceeding quality standards and providing products and services of the highest caliber.

• Maintains painstaking attention to detail, completing multiple or repetitive tasks

• Demonstrates a serious commitment to accuracy and quality while meeting goals or deadlines.

• Has excellent organizational skills.

• To effectively produce all of Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace Gourmet to Go recipes.

• To assist the Executive Chef in assuring that the department meets or exceeds Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace production labor, food cost, merchandising and quality control standards.

• Executes merchandising, promotions and demos that meet marketing objectives on a per shift basis.

• Ensures excellent customer service standards. 

• Ensures that the quality of products offered in the department meet or exceed Company standards.

• Properly manages staff in the department to ensure optimum productivity and results, on a per shift basis.

• Previous culinary and/or food preparation experience and customer service experience required.

• Previous management experience preferred.

• Must be able to work early mornings, nights and weekends.  Must have reliable transportation.
