Job Description

Nitel is a premier provider of telecom network services to businesses nationwide.  Our growing, profitable technology company seeks a telecommunications industry professional who understands the rapidly changing environment to fill our Orders Specialist position. The Orders Specialist will work with different departments to manage the order entry lifecycle of all circuit and equipment orders. This individual will be responsible for the following actions on all new and disconnect service requests; this includes managing internal and external escalations for pre-order and post-order issues:

  • Order review
  • Order handling
  • Carrier order placement
  • Handoff to order management
  • All change management requests
  • Coordination with our technical engineering staff during the order entry and order management lifecycles

Qualifications

We are the best at what we do, and our team members need to be the best as well.  The right candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business
  • 2-3 years relevant work experience
  • Telecommunications background with SIP and/or Hosted products in an order management role preferred
  • The organizational skills to manage multiple projectsProven ability to develop and execute best practices in customer service and order management
  • Strong communication, trouble-shooting, and technical skills
