Financial Analytics Consultant 3 San Francisco, California • Home Lending, Consumer Credit Card, Personal Loans and Lines, Direct Auto, Dealer Services, Commercial Auto, Retail Services and Education Financial Services including the professional services teams that partner with these businesses– Human Resources, Finance, Credit Risk, and Compliance & Operational Risk. • Rewards and Enhancement Services. • Support the business through insightful advanced consumer analytics including financial P&L pro-forma cash flow NPV analysis, financial performance tracking, setting up and evaluating tests, behavioral profiling, and customer segmentation. • Work closely with partners in Product Management, Marketing, Risk Management, Customer Service, Collections, and Fraud to propose new business cases that are financially sound and allocate the bank’s capital in an optimal matter. • Work with partners to establish strategic initiatives and focus for the company. • Strategically important decision areas relating to growing new account production and optimizing existing account profitability • Leverage creative and industry-leading technologies in a fast-paced environment with senior management exposure. • Driving long-term business growth. • Strong understanding of the business strategy, financial cash flow analysis and credit risk in a Financial Services/ Banking domain. • Experience in manipulating large analytical databases using the SAS programming language. • Presentation and writing skills and a strong record in achieving success through partnering. • Strategies that leverage best practices from both quantitative and judgmental decision making. • Values will not only come from being able to analyze data, but from thinking creatively and partnering successfully with other stakeholders to implement practical solutions. • Charge of optimizing and growing income by balancing risk and reward through sophisticated financial modeling and analytical techniques. • Complex analysis to support management decision-making and strategic objectives • Driving pricing recommendations and profitability reporting and analytics • Prepare financial models/ business cases to support key business initiatives and sizing potential business opportunities • Perform complex data mining and predictive modeling to analyzing portfolio trends • Proposing and reviewing product line or service changes or expansions. • Must possess strong quantitative and analytic skills, and be comfortable with ambiguity and constant change, yet able to set priorities and execute on projects/assigned deliverables • Ability to logically structure analytical problems and use effective reasoning skills to evaluate financial opportunities/issues • Strong business partnership skills • Capable of communicating in terms of big picture, but working with close attention to detail and accuracy • Strong presentation skills (Job ID: 13320)
