Human Resources Manager

Our client is a leader in the contracting industry and based in Columbus, OH. Currently there is an opportunity for a Human Resources Manager to join the organization. The Human Resources Manager is responsible for oversight, planning, and management of the Human Resources function and will act in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
The HR Manager will have responsibility of the following functions: HR Strategy, Employee Recruitment, Engagement, Performance Management, Development, Community Relations, Union & Labor Relations, and Compliance and Safety.
In addition, the HR Manager has responsibility for partnering with leadership to effectively manage employees through leadership, positive employee relations, training and development, safety and change management. The HR Manager partners and supports the leadership team with managing compensation and benefits program.
The HR Manager is a communication conduit facilitating information sharing to achieve organizational objectives.
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) majoring in HR or business from four-year college or university
- Masters Degree in related field preferred but not required or equivalent experience
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- SPHR Certified
- 5+ years in Human Resources Management role accountable for total operations of HR function
- 5+ years of experience effectively managing Union and Labor Relations, Contract Negotiations, Collective Bargaining Agreements and Issue Resolution
This position is based in Columbus, OH.
Compensation at 75K plus benefits.
