What's the role?
The Assistant Director of Corporate Reporting (AD-CR) is responsible for content, analysis and delivery of all financial statements and analytical reporting for the company’s insurance product lines and for communicating such information to senior financial management and product line management in a way that is effective for making informed financial decisions.  The AD-CR is also responsible for the overall management of the company’s product allocations process, which includes developing and sustaining an effective and efficient process, while promoting the continued adherence to process goals and guiding principles.  This position is responsible for handling complex and involved financial matters within the position’s family and function and is often involved in forward-looking product trends and implications.

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or actuarial science.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Fellow in the Society of Actuaries (FSA).
  • Ten years of progressively responsible experience with insurance accounting and/or financial management.
  • Experience with the application of statutory and GAAP accounting and reporting standards in an insurance environment.
  • Extensive knowledge of the insurance industry.
  • Highly analytical with demonstrated superior written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven leadership and decision making skills.
  • Ability and desire to innovate and implement change.
  • High degree of personal initiative and self-motivation.
