What's the role?

Responsible for quantitative and qualitative U.S. Large Cap equity research and analysis.  Responsible for constructing U.S. Large Cap equity portfolios for high net worth clients of the Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Company (WMC) as part of our Private Client Services program.  Monitor and manage portfolio allocations relative to investment policy.  Prepare portfolio reviews, market communications and other materials as needed.  Analyze and discuss performance and attributes of client portfolios with field representatives and clients.

 

 

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

 

 

  • B.S. Degree in business, finance and/or equivalent, advanced degree preferred
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation or work toward designation
  • Extensive experience with individual equity security research and analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze investment portfolios, including individual stocks
  • Significant background in understanding, interpreting and articulating asset allocation, broad economy/market conditions and metrics
  • Must be able to articulate in both written and verbal form
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills
  • Technical expertise in standard applications including but not limited to Bloomberg, Excel, Word
  • 7-10 years of experience in the investment/fiduciary management industry,
  • 5 years of equity research, portfolio construction and client service experience
