As a Frontend Engineer, you will be key team member on a results-driven team delivering an Enterprise-level alerts and notifications system. Hosted in the cloud, this high profile application will be used by a wide variety of consumers, from clients to home office to field representatives. This role requires a mix of skills and responsibilities and you’ll be expected to jump right in, leveraging your expertise to provide creative solutions while learning new technologies. Must have strong ownership of day-to-day responsibilities and maintain the long-term view of the product. This position will split time in the following areas: 70% AngularJS, Javascript, API; 20% Architect/Mentoring and 10% Cloud infrastructure. You are a highly passionate problem solver and take initiative to work collaboratively and efficiently with others.

 

Must Have:

  • Senior Engineer with experience building scalable large enterprise notification services
  • Architect mindset with developer skills to turn high level design into production-ready software
  • Mentor mentality to help guide teams through design and build
  • Experience defining and structuring RESTful APIs for notification based services
  • Experience building event driven micro service architectures
  • Infrastructure as a Service design, including Scalability/Portability in the Cloud
  • Strong Javascript
  • Container Orchestration, Docker/Kubernetes  
  • AngularJS 1.x
  • Ability to adjust to change and unknowns while maintaining a high level of quality

 

Nice to Have: 

  • Experience with Microsoft Azure architecture and service offerings
  • Experience as Cloud Engineer; including knowledge of Networking, Storage, Authentication, Infrastructure as Code (Ansible).
  • Azure to On-Premise Connectivity/Security
  • Dev Ops
  • Continuous Delivery; TeamCity/Jenkins
  • API Management; ApiGee
  • Nginx
  • Notification Preference Management
  • Compliance Management
  • Backend experience in Java and/or .NET
