What's the role?

Work under the direction of an actuary to provide assistance and support for special project and regular departmental duties. Duties can include but are not limited to research, analysis, written and oral presentations, and other general assistance designed to help the department with spikes in workload while at the same time providing a good learning experience for the incumbent.

 

 

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

 

 

Actuarial Science or related major, preferably having completed Sophomore year, with at least a 3.3 GPA. Must have strong analytical and communications skills, and evidence of a strong work ethic. Must be able to work part-time hours during the 2017 Spring Semester. Successful completion of an SOA exam is required and prior actuarial internship experience preferred. A working knowledge of Excel or similar office tools is helpful.
