What's the role?

The Director, Strategy Integration and Transformation is part of the Corporate Strategy team reporting to the VP – Corporate Strategy.  The director facilitates critical business strategy transformation work across the enterprise as the company continues to strengthen its business strategy for the digital world.  Leads a small team of corporate strategy consultants. This role is the frontline of all of the strategy streams including interacting with new acquisitions, including LearnVest, integrating and shaping the enterprise strategy to drive long-term value. 

 

  • Facilitate strategy evolution and business transformation to generate sustained enterprise value
  • Lead development of integrated strategic plan and roadmap to execute business strategy for a digital world and continuously oversee to achieve outcomes and deliver results
  • Strengthen strategic exploration capability partnering across the organization to advance strategic innovation and internal disruption
  • Work with executive leaders on roadmap oversight and decision-making, business transformation, and opportunities for strategic exploration
  • Facilitate collaboration across the enterprise to resolve and optimize cross-functional opportunities
  • Lead scenario modeling to capture changing external conditions, identify strategic risks and adjust strategy design, as needed, to achieve strategic outcomes
  • Lay groundwork for a strategic consulting capability for the enterprise
  • Manage a small team charged with strategy integration and consulting

 

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or other related area of study. Masters’ degree preferred.
  • Minimum 10-15 years of demonstrated professional leadership, including strategy development for enterprise or business unit with significant business transformation experience.
  • Experience leading established companies through digital transformation.
  • Strong communication skills with ability to influence across boundaries and build strong partnerships across the enterprise.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to build rapport and influence decisions at all levels of management especially senior management.
  • Ability to set strategic direction that has broad implications for the entire enterprise.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and make decisions with limited information.
  • Strong negotiation skills and comfort standing alone.
  • Strong change management skills and experience.
  • Must be digitally savvy
  • Preferred experience with mergers and acquisitions - post acquisition integration
  • Preferred experience in tech /digital industry and/or financial services
