What's the role?

This is a project funded role expected to last until 12/31/2018.

 

Our experts provide professional consultations, education and project support to our advisors and home office on financial planning and our robust suite of financial products.  These activities cover multiple planning, investment and insurance disciplines and strategies. Our day to day experience includes support for the complete planning process from fact finding and financial plan development to proposals of products for executing the plan with clients.  Our expertise includes knowledge in the full breadth and depth of planning concepts, use of our planning/proposal software and training on the range of financial products we offer. 

 

Our focus is on developing and training the best, most credible experts we can.   Our main role is to provide direct case consultation via inbound calls to our representatives; participate in proactive sales campaigns through outbound activities to educate and engage our field; act as a trainer or speaker on topics such as product design, illustration tools, and planning tool usage/methodologies; and finally serve as lead on a wide variety corporate and division projects.

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

 

  • B.S. degree in business, finance, marketing or related field desired or a minimum of 2 years experience in a financial services environment focused on presenting and educating audiences on a variety of financial products.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge and understanding of financial services products and application relative to planning and products.
  • Excellent knowledge of one or two specific products desired.
  • Excellent ability to meet the expectations and needs of customers through delivering suitable recommendations.
  • Effective demonstration and application of sales consultation skills;
  • ask relevant, open-ended questions to engage the caller, discuss needs and concerns and validate solutions based on those needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and deliver clear and smooth presentations.
  • Demonstrated ability to carry self well in a group setting.
  • Required Licenses and Designations:
  • Series 7 registration is required for duties related to securities and other investment products (to be obtained in a designated period of time).
  • FINRA Series 7
