What's the role?
The Associate Trust & PCS Account Administrator is manages and administers a portfolio of trust and private client services accounts which may include: Funded trusts, irrevocable life insurance trusts (ILIT), IRAs, and investment management accounts. Tasks include initial set-up, transfer of assets, account reviews, financial reporting monitoring, and servicing distribution requests.  Ccoordinates client service activities with other areas of the organization; delivers services to Financial Network representatives, Wealth Management Advisors, attorneys and beneficiaries in order to clarify information, communicate activity, or relay terms of the account. As part of a team, works closely with and supports other administration staff in the discharge of more complex account activities. Position requires independent judgment and entails significant training and development in the areas of tax, trust, insurance, operations, and trust-related technical expertise.

 

 

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting or related discipline.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years professional experience in trusts or trust administration.
  • Strong knowledge of the interpretation and practical application of document provisions, probate law, taxes, investment, and the legal framework of estate and trust administration.
  • Must demonstrate high analytical ability and be able to resolve questions arising from account administration
  • Must have demonstrated success and proficiency in professional communication and interpersonal skills, leadership ability, social and professional etiquette.
  • Ability to maintain composure and confidentiality when dealing with clients and client information.
  • Proven ability to act independently in document interpretation and decision making regarding administration of account relationships and interaction with professionals such as attorneys and CPA’s.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical reasoning and problem solving skills.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing high levels of service to high net worth clients.
  • Demonstrated superior attentiveness to detail.
  • Actively is a team player and effectively interacts with coworkers.
