What's the role?

Responsible for the closing and funding of selected commercial mortgage loan and equity investments as well as selected loan modifications.  Coordinates and tracks satisfaction of all closing requirements on assigned investments.  Reviews, analyzes and approves title insurance and surveys.  Drafts and finalizes loan documents.  Reviews and analyzes commercial leases and corporate organizational documents.  Insures investments/modifications are closed consistent with original deal points.   

 

Bring Your Best! What this role needs:

 

  • A Bachelor Degree required.  A Paralegal Certificate desirable. 
  • One to three years of experience in either, (1) real estate closings or (2) corporate law.
  • Understanding of corporations, partnerships, limited liability companies as well as lease review experience desirable. 
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities successfully and work effectively during periods of high volume. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. 
  • Ability to build a consensus and demonstrate a high degree of analytical skills. 
  • Very service oriented and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
