Job title: Recording Clerk
Location: Glendale, California
Duration: 3+ Months – Contract
Description
The Recording Clerk is responsible for entering, transcribing, recording, storing, or maintaining information in written or electronic/magnetic form. Performing day-to-day administrative tasks such as maintaining information files and processing paperwork. Compiling, coding, categorizing, calculating, tabulating, archiving, auditing, or verifying information or data.
Skill/Experience/Education
Mandatory:
Experience with presenting documents for recording to the county either directly, via a vendor, or electronically.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage loan documents
• Ability to identify recordable documents
• Mortgage loan audit experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Possess a sense of urgency
• Proactive in resolving problems
• Well organized to meet production and customer driven deadlines.
• Excellent professional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask
• Must be able to work quickly and independently
• Experience in a multi-state operation
• Strong knowledge of what documents are recordable and an understanding of what these documents accomplish when recorded.
• Knowledge of the recording process.
• Strong attention to detail
Qualifications
