Day to Day activities:
The Sr. BA will be responsible for managing enhancement requests, small projects (new module build outs) and overall stakeholder management
The primary applications supported will be Service Now and PPM (project and portfolio management)
Stakeholder management is also a primary focus for this role. The candidate will need to be able to communicate with all levels of the organization; from other BA’s senior executives. The Service Now tool is used by a variety of groups within the organization and managing demand and prioritization is critical
Proficient in developing requirements definition, functional specifications, test scripts, data models and business procedures.
Strong process flow and diagramming skills (visio application)
Ability to facilitate a business requirements session with customers
Creation and delivery of training materials
Exposure to managing the testing disciplines (use of quality center tool)
Extremely organized with the ability to create and manage to a plan
Strong interpersonal skills; comfortable dealing with a large span of people from executive management to business analysts; strong relationship management and negotiation skills.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Strong communication skills - verbal, written, listening and presentation.
Experience gathering requirements for complex enhancements and business requirements is required
Understanding of SDLC (software delivery lifecycle) and project management fundamentals
Process flow mapping, data conversion and interface design
Good understanding of entertainment industry and the role that IT plays in the industry
