Job Description
Title: Analysis Engineer – Ansys FEA
Location: MI
Duration: 12 month assignment, mutually extendable.
BS or MS Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
-Approx. 5+ years experience in finite element analysis.
-Proficient with ANSYS FEA software, Version 11.0 or above.
-Experience with ANSYS command / APDL language.
- Domain Experience with Castings. Forgings, Complex Assemblies.
-FEA experience using axis-symmetric elements & modeling techniques.
-Multidiscipline FEA experience, i.e. static, dynamic, thermal, linear, nonlinear, etc.
-Ability to work in a team environment, take direction from senior analysts.
-Good communication / report writing skills.
-Good general PC computer skills, experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
-Powertrain/Transmission exposure preferred.
