An exciting opportunity awaits you as an Operations Coordinator / Lead Operator for OpsMobil, an oilfield service and operations company aviation capabilities.  This position will have particular emphasis upon maintaining the highest standards of safety, customer care, and operational delivery as well as supporting our exciting growth plans.

The PM Operations Coordinator provides field supervision, on the job training, mentoring, special projects and client relationship management.  The Operations Coordinator plans, organizes, directs and executes special projects on behalf of OpsMobil clients.  The position will provide technical expertise and support for specific field operations.  The position will act as a liaison between the field client representative and the OpsMobil production operations team.  The Operations Coordinator is ultimately responsible for efficient coordination of Production Management personnel and resources, ensuring gross margins are achieved at the project / field level.  

Requirements:

1. Ten or more years experience in Oil & Gas production operations or maintenance environment, with three or more years in a supervisory role.

2. Post-Secondary: two years minimum (Technical School, University or Trade Certificate, or a minimum of three years Production Operation Supervision experience).

3. Thorough knowledge of corporate procedures and policies is a requisite.

4. Must understand the Oil & Gas exploration and production cycle.

5. Proven leadership and management training.

6. Proficiency in OpsMobil software systems (Heli programs, SMS Reporter, Google Apps, Zoho People, etc)

7. Basic oilfield courses (H2S, First Aid, TDG, WHMIS, Defensive Driving, etc.)

Skills:

1. Demonstrated ability to lead Level 2 organization.  Must attract, recommend, develop and maintain a team of Strata 1: team participants.

2. Requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

3. Must posses strong analytical and mechanical skills.

4. Must posses superior negotiating skills.
