Job Description

A member of the EMR Team, responding to and resolving users’ problems and queries relating to eClinicalWorks. Taking receipt of Helpdesk support requests, from various mediums, and resolving them or referring for escalation to other more specialized areas of the IM&T Department

Configuration and support of systems. Investigating and resolving problems and providing information about hardware and software used within the organization.

Ensure that the organization’s IT asset and user databases are kept accurate and up-to-date. Administration of user’s computer accounts; creation/modification, deletion, password maintenance, and adjustments to user work group memberships.

Customize options and build custom templates in E-ClinicalWorks for providers and employees.

Work with departments to update new tests and orders; attributing the correct codes for billing and interfaces

Monitor User Forums to gain insight and offer instructions or suggestions to other users.

Monitors all user problems, investigates root causes, identify trends and patterns, and other requests for support and/or information and takes the most appropriate actions in order to reach a satisfactory resolution

Ensures that all work is carried out and documented in accordance with required standards, methods and procedures.

Data analysis using reporting available in each EMR product or their trusted reporting partner

Business Intelligence creation and reporting using Qlikview

Serves as a back-up for any Informatics team members when needed

Undertakes such other duties as may reasonably be required of you commensurate with your general level of responsibility and the general scope of the post, as determined by the your manager.

Continual education to enhance skills on the job.

Qualifications

EDUCATION: Minimum 2-year college degree, 4-year degree is preferred, with additional computer certifications (MS Office, Qlikview).

EXPERIENCE: 

Minimum of two years experience with practice management software and information technology functions related to a wide variety of computer software, preferably in a healthcare setting.

Experience with reporting is a must. Experience with MySQL reporting is preferred

Experience with Microsoft Excel and/or Access is strongly preferred

Healthcare experience preferred

Experience with eCW is a plus
