Job Description

Job Summary:

To assist students, parents and home facilitators over the resolving and/​or troubleshooting IT problems, provide training, and answer concerns over the phone or via e-mail.​

Job Requirements:

  • Candidate must have valid driver's license and their own transportation.
  • Candidate must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Current (dated within a year) Act 34, 114, and 151 clearances

 

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Associates degree preferred
  • A+​ certified preferred.​
  • Network+ ​certified preferred.​

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months related experience or equivalent educational experience.
  • 1-3 years of prior IT support experience including phone support of PC, Mac and internet connectivity issues preferred
  • Strong knowledge  of PC and Mac hardware and software installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and repair preferred
  • Must have experience with general office equipment maintenance and repair, including:
    • Hardware - computers, laptops, printers, microphones, cameras (webcam)
    • Software - MS Windows XP, Win 7, Win 8, Web conferencing, Adobe Connect, and
  • Experience with IT ticketing systems and learning management systems such as Moodle, Blackboard
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills and work well in team environments.
  • Self-motivated and excellent follow-up and documentation techniques.​
  • Able to handle high stress and variable workloads including a high level of calls and call backs per day
  • Able to work with a variety of personality styles and in a team environment.​
