Job Description

Position Summary: 
As an integral member of the local management team you will have the opportunity to work with the most innovative container, conifer seedling producer in the industry with a focus on customer satisfaction and continuous improvement. You will oversee all aspects of greenhouse and open compound seedling production and lead a team that takes pride in meeting our customer expectations. Your focus will include financial management, personnel development and leadership, continuous improvement activities, customer focus, overall site safety, and promotion of PRT.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
The ideal candidate will have:
o    A bachelor’s degree or diploma in horticulture, agriculture, or forestry, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
o    Five or more years of horticulture or crop production experience 
o    Experience leading and managing crop production teams 
o    Strong planning, organization, and time management skills
o    Ability to problem solve and conduct root cause analysis
o    Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS-Excel, MS-Word, and MS-Outlook
o    Knowledge or experience with continuous process improvement in a production environment
o    Ability to analyze and work with financial data including developing budgets and financial analysis
