Job Description

Role Title: Web Content Usability Engineer/Architect

Role Description:

PACE Computer Solutions is looking for an experienced web content Usability Engineer to work with our team to architect a highly usable web based design making use of usability engineering techniques.  This will include the building of wireframes, lofi and high fi prototypes resulting in a User Centric Design (UCD).  This position will architect a user centric design process that ensures the final design is both useful and usable, while addressing needs of the client.  The ideal candidate will have excellent written and presentation skills.  The functional work conducted by the team will result in the display of client data through simulation or prototype.  The ideal candidate will have a strong functional background with a history in developing web-based applications focused on user experience.  

 

The Architect will:

  • Understand the NSA government strategy and data sets that have been identified to share with the public
  • Work with the team to interface with the client to identify datasets for visualization, design layouts with various looks and feel.
  • Take the lead to develop Lo Fi and High Fi prototypes
  • During the testing period,  the team will look at the possibilities for the client in the future and assess the successes and problems with the first visualizations. Perform  analysis on test releases (the team may conduct a survey or use such products as IdeaScale to obtain feedback).

 

 

Qualifications

Prior experience architecting, designing and developing  Web Content usability techniques targeting customers in the NSA environment is required.
