PAL Robotics is a robotics company developing humanoid service robots. Our goal is to develop humanoids that can perform useful tasks in the real world. We are a young and multidisciplinary team of highly motivated engineers, that have successfully developed several prototypes and products.

Required Skills

At least 3 years of experience in product development companies as a Mechanical Technician or Manufacturing Technician.
Must have advanced technical skills and be familiar with mechanical systems and machine components such as gears, chains, bearings, etc.
Good English (written and spoken).
Familiar  with 3D CAD software.
Experience operating CNC machines and other workshop machines.

Duties and Responsibilities

Main responsible  of the workshop, warehouse and mechanical inventory.
Prototypes and products development, assembly, testing and scientific evaluation .
Provide technical support to other departments as required for solving technical issues and meet special customer requirements.
Generate assembly instructions, project documentation and reports.

Required Personal Capabilities

Applicant needs to have a European work permit.
Demonstrate ability to understand, evaluate and solve complex technical issues.
Ability to work with multiple priorities in a fast-paced, multi-cultural, multi-disciplinary environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish effective cross-functional working relationships.
Soft skills: communication, motivation, initiative, autonomy, flexibility, team player.

Desired skills and experience

Solidworks user experience.
Used to work with suppliers and external manufacturing workshops.
Experience with ERP systems.
Good background in electric motors and thermal design.
Previous experience with robotics.

Job conditions

The company is located in Barcelona, Spain.
Start date: from September 2015.
The compensation package will be evaluated according to the relevant experience of the candidate.
