Job Description

The person coming into this role will be working in a team who are responsible for successful implementation of our software into our clients’ infrastructure. You will be required to learn Palantir’s bespoke applications from a technical view and provide support to the IT Manager and members of the team during implementations.  Other responsibilities will include but not be restricted to:


  • Liaise with client IT personnel to achieve project objectives
  • Provide expert level support with regards to the company’s bespoke application deployment
  • Ensure all processes and procedures are completed, quality standards are met, and projects are completed within prescribed timeframe
  • Resolve and escalate problems as appropriate following IT Operation’s procedures
  • Coordinate Change Control migration process through non-Production and Production environments according to policies and procedure
  • Review and provide accurate and timely logging of incidents and resolution of issues in the service tracking database

Qualifications


  • Excellent network analytical and fault finding skills
  • Full understanding of Microsoft AD up to Windows server 2012
  • Working knowledge of Citrix and other application provisioning methods within a corporate environment
  • Understanding of program scripting – DOS syntax, VB, PowerShell
  • A good understanding of Windows operating systems & Microsoft SQL Server
  • Excellent understanding of all Microsoft Office products
  • Knowledge of application installation behaviour
  • A good knowledge of remote IT support tools
  • The ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong customer service, organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to simultaneously and successfully handle multiple, disparate tasks

 

Preferred

  • Experience in a similar role in a commercially/technology driven environment
