This position assists the treatment team in providing patient care and is responsible for monitoring and delivering high quality services to dually diagnosed/chemically dependent patients. Primary responsibilities include: The provision of a safe and therapeutic milieu; Assessment of progress/digress in treatment' Delivering group educational services; Crisis interventions; And full participation with the multidisciplinary team toward meeting a patients treatment plan objectives.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to demonstrate competency in the criteria listed in this job description. The specifications listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and ability to meet the minimum requirements for this position. Staff must demonstrate ability to provide clinically sound interventions and services to varied populations including chemically dependent and dually diagnosed adult patients. Be flexible to reassignment to areas to perform such interventions. Follow the lead of supervisors and charge persons to assure consistent and appropriate care.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong clinical skills and experience with dual diagnosis population required. An Associates degree in a related mental health discipline from an accredited college and or High School Diploma or equivalent with experience in a chemical dependency and or mental health treatment setting.
