Job Description

Position Overview:


Pet360 is seeking a passionate Senior Copywriter who is highly creative, detail-oriented, and experienced in tone and voice of multiple brands and adept at providing compelling product, category and brand content.

 


Primary Responsibilities:

 

  • Responsible for writing creative copy for a variety of channels with a strong understanding of customer and brand requirements.
  • Responsible for becoming immersed in the brands, understanding the goals and personality of multiple brands and developing the voice for those brands.
  • Creates the core messaging for content based on research, executive direction & customer      expectations.
  • Integrates written communications with display and graphic vehicles.
  • Proofreads for consistency and clarity of brand style.
  • Manages multiple projects simultaneously, proactively reprioritizing when necessary.
  • Stay current with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design and business and industry trends.

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, or Marketing.
  • Minimum 5+ years experience as a copywriter with exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Experience setting the tone and voice of multiple brands
  • Agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Must have strong skills in MS Word, including style, formatting and revision tracking tools.
  • Must have outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines a must.
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating and implementing web site content, direct mail campaigns, advertising, and email campaigns.
  • Must understand best practices involving email marketing, blog postings, and social media.
