Job Description

We are looking for a talented Staff Accountant to work as a part of the corporate Accounting & Finance Team, reporting to the Controller.The Accountant will be responsible for monthly bank reconciliations for multiple accounts and companies.

The responsibilities will also include :

• account reconciliations

• journal entries

• assist with open order tracking and resolution

• record and accrue use tax

• process vendor check payments weekly

• collect aging receivables- contact vendors via phone and in writing

• assist in other projects as needed

• assist in month end close

The position requires the ability to multi task with attention to detail and adapt in a high growth/fast pace environment.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in Finance and Accounting
  • An accounting degree
  • A Knowledge of Accounting processes and practices
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Self directed/motivated
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Strong work Ethic
  • Team oriented
