We’re looking for an ETL Engineer to build data flows between key systems including ERP, order management, external trading partners, E-mail Service Provider, and our data warehouse.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build data flows between key systems including ERP, order management, external trading partners, E-mail Service Provider, and our data warehouse 

• Work with operations team to resolve data integrity issues as they arise

• Responsible for integrating quality data into the warehouse.

• Develops auditing processes to insure data accuracy and consistency

• Working with business users, understand their needs for information, work with them directly on solutions, and educate them during the process.

• Documents technical standards.

• Create detailed specification documents related to data designs.

• Solid understanding of SQL and relational database management systems

• ETL design & development experience with at least one industry recognized ETL tool, such as PDI/Kettle, KETL, SSIS, Jitterbit, Pentaho, or Informatica

• Problem solving and meta-data skills, analyze query plans, indexes, and locking behavior.

• Experience writing, analyzing and optimizing SQL code, stored procedures, functions, views, triggers, and indexes.

• Strong understanding of how data structures satisfy and relate to business functions.

• Proficiency in scripting languages (shell, Python, PHP, Perl).

• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills.

• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
