Job Description

We are looking to add an ambitious rock star to join our team! This person will be challenged to think creatively; we strive for innovative ideas big and small. Email marketing plays an essential role in the success of Pet360 and one of our most important touch points with pet parents. Working alongside the Email Marketing Manager, the Email Marketing Coordinator will be challenged with growing email engagement and diversifying Pet360’s entire portfolio of brands. This individual will be responsible for managing the email campaign process end to end including constructing and deploying email campaigns. In addition, he or she must be detail oriented, highly motivated, and a self starter, as they are responsible for hitting tight deadlines with flawless execution. Responsibilities:

• Execute all elements of email marketing campaigns from setup through to deployment, including end to end campaign construction (email campaign creation, development, QA and deployment) and management

• Communicate cross departmentally with creative team, IT team, and project managers to maintain the email creation process

• Create, maintain and utilize email segmentation to better target promotions, improve personalized content and understand response metrics.

• Reporting to the email marketing manager and working alongside other team members to understand business objectives and consumer targets and translate these into relevant email programs and strategies.

• Develop weekly and monthly reporting metrics and dashboards and communicate results on a consistent basis.

• Establish email channel benchmarks, summarize performance and recommend actions to improve key metrics for all email programs.


Qualifications

• BA or BS Degree required

• 1-3 years hands on experience with email marketing preferred, but recent college graduates with a degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field will be considered

• Eagerness to learn and ability to work both independently and as a part of a team

• Candidate must be customer focused. We want someone who will think like a pet parent and take a holistic approach to our email program and providing the best experience possible

• Experience with Microsoft Office preferred, especially Excel and Powerpoint

• Experience with top email service providers (ESP’s), knowledge of the BlueHornet platform a major plus

• Experience with Dreamweaver and/or email HTML preferred, but not required

• Experience with Omniture SiteCatalyst and/or Google Analytics preferred, but not required

• Highly organized and detail-oriented with excellent analytical skill

• Work well under tight deadlines, able to respond quickly to ad hoc requests and changes
