Through a deeply collaborative relationship, we create sustainable value for organizations, ultimately helping them deliver products and services that improve clients’ lives.        Job Summary:       Provides massage therapy and other forms of physical body work under the supervision of a PT or OT in order maximized physical and emotional function.  Adheres to departmental policies              Job Responsibilities:        1. Providing full sessions of massage, while adapts massage techniques to the changing needs of the diverse group of people that are served.       2. Relates and works in a cooperative manner with other health care professionals; i.e.: acupuncturist, medical social worker, dietician, case manager       3. Reports any concerns or change in patient status to client’s assigned case manager in appropriate time.       4. Assesses for type of body work indicated on each client and educates clients on differences of body work with pros/cons for clients to make informed decision on type of massage received.       5. Assure clinic is safe for patient treatment and all treatment tables and equipment are wiped down per department policy.       6. Provides patient care while under the distant supervision of a therapist.       7. Documents progress notes and billing on Meditech and multidisciplinary form, contributing to client’s multidisciplinary treatment plan.       8. Perform other duties as assigned. Must be HIPAA compliant.       Qualifications:       Minimum Education:  High school diploma or equivalent preferred.       Minimum Work Experience:  Minimum two years’ experience in practice or similar time spent in the health/fitness field.  Experience in sports injury, chronic pain required.  Experience with working with medically complex clients preferred.                      Current CPR certification required.       Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:  Manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination sufficient to perform assigned duties.  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with patients, staff, physicians, and others.       Working Environment:  Works in a climate controlled environment. Stands and walks over carpeted and tile surfaces. May be exposed to chemicals, pharmaceuticals, infectious material and unpredictable behavior of patients.       Essential Physical Requirements:  Ability to perform repetitive reaching, hand force, bending, stooping, carrying, standing and stretching.
