PPS customer is a growing software development company in the mid-Michigan area.
Job Description
Lead database build and management, including integrations and extractions. Set up databases according to a company’s needs, and make sure they operate efficiently, fine-tuning, upgrading, and testing modifications as needed. The admin will be responsible for implementing security measures to safeguard the company's most sensitive data. Resolving complex issues, in dealing with data from several sources will also be necessary, so attention to detail is an essential trait in this profession, as is a passion for problem-solving.
Qualifications
Communication skills are also important, as this admin will work as part of a team with computer programmers and managers. Ongoing maintenance of a database frequently requires being on call, so availability after hours will sometimes be needed.
Also essential is experience in SQL 2008-2012.
SSIS, SSRS
AJAX
experience with legacy systems
Website build experience and C# .Net development experience is a plus.
