PPS customer is a growing software development and information management company.

Position:

Senior level programmer/analyst to perform complex software development tasks to support manufacturing systems software.

Requirements:

*       Over 7 years of analysis and programming experience with an emphasis in database applications.

*       Must have experience designing, developing, supporting, and troubleshooting manufacturing systems software.

*       Able to design solutions within the architectural standards of the organization with minimal supervision.

*       Able to perform as a lead analyst/developer to assist and direct junior developers. 

*       Able to work on multiple projects in a manner that they are functionally accurate and on schedule.

*       Must maintain detailed records of project hours, status, and issues to keep management informed of project progress.

*       Must be able to demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of data modeling terms, concepts and practices.

*       Must possess experience in database programming (stored functions, stored procedures, triggers etc.)
*       Able to work effectively with personnel at all levels of the organization

*       Able to communicate effectively (both written and verbal)

*       Must have experience developing client applications, web applications, Windows Services, and Web Services.

*       Experience with Agile software development methods is a plus

Technically proficient in the following development tools and environments:

       

*       C++ and VB6 (for support of existing systems - new development is primarily C#)
       

*       C#

        *       VB.Net is a plus

*       Visual Studio 2010/2012
       

*       Oracle 9i/10g/11g (PL/SQL, SQL)

        *       SQL Server 2005+ is a plus
       

*       ASP / ASP.Net
       

*       VBScript, Javascript, HTML & XML

        *       JQuery and JSON are a plus
       

*       Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows Server 2003+
