Job Description

We're looking for an energetic “Do-It-All Office Admin” (DIAOA) to take care of the office, support recruiting efforts, support management with day-to-day operations and much more. Although this is a junior role, you will play a key role at a fast paced high-tech startup. You will report to the CEO/COO. If you are looking for an exciting, demanding job that provides unique experience and gives you a chance to shine, this might be what you are looking for!


Example responsibilities:
  • Office management – make sure printer ink, paper, soda is in stock, keep office relatively organized, everyday coffee prep
  • Spreading cheer – be the face of the company to the employees and all visitors, be upbeat always and keep things lively
  • Event planning - Plan company happiness events including: birthdays, anniversaries, recognition and celebrations, team bonding activities and team offsites
  • Recruiting – Post jobs online, screen candidates for basic fit, arrange all phone screens and interview days and follow-up with candidates
  • New hires – develop a streamlined new hire paperwork process, make sure employee is 100% set up and productive on their first day
  • Independent tasks – do whatever misc tasks are needed with minimal guidance, e.g. “get a used refrigerator here by Friday for less than $250″
  • Exec admin – Do whatever else the CEO/COO needs to keep moving quickly

Qualifications

Ideally you have/are:

  • Some professional experience and a BS/BA degree or equivalent;
  • Impeccably organized, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • A deep sense of empathy for others;
  • A strong sense of urgency and personal accountability (you take the initiative to make things happen);
  • Professionalism including the ability to make a good 1st impression and demonstrate respectful, friendly and welcoming behavior;
  • Excited and inspired by new technology and eager to incorporate it into your work

  • Humble – because you know you don’t have all the answers
