We're looking for a Junior Web Developer (PHP) to assist with the development and growth of the Pixieset product. You will be working behind-the-scenes with other talented engineers to create a great product for over 200,000 professional photographers from around the world. As a Junior Web Developer (PHP), you will work along side our seasoned engineers to maintain and add new features on the Pixieset platform. You are responsible for writing bug-free, scalable code and shipping high quality software.

We are looking for junior developers who can pick up any technology quickly and is comfortable jumping into platforms and various code bases. You should be a hard-working individual who is hungry to learn and willing to handle all types of tasks from front end to backend. Ideally you:

• Have a BSc/Diploma in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  
• 1-2 years experience working on web applications
  
• Some Experience with “modern” PHP, jQuery, HTML, CSS, MySQL, AWS, Grunt, Redis, Memcache, Git
  
• Some Experience working with web frameworks like Yii, Laravel, Codeigniter etc.
  
• Familiar with basic data structure and algorithms
  
• Some Experience building custom web applications (beyond CMS platforms like Wordpress) for desktop and mobile
