What You Will Do:

·         Develop cellular network solutions based on the customer’s growth plans, capacity constraints, new features and technologies.

·         Responsible for gaining the skills to ensure the technical content on cellular network projects by analyzing the customer’s requirements and ensuring that the network solutions proposed will meet the optimum needs of the Wireless customer.

·         Be an active member of the RF Engineering team and apply your technical knowledge to issues related to the development of Network Design and Optimization.

·         Maintain a general understanding of wireless communication principles and theories as they apply to the design, operation, and optimization of wireless networks.

You will be expected to work with the corporate team to ensure high quality execution of variety of projects that include:

·         Drive Test/Walk Test Data Processing and reporting

·         Data Analysis

·         Remote Site Integration

·         UMTS/LTE/5G Network design

·         Optimization and performance engineering

·         DAS system design

·         CAD Engineering drawings

·         EME Reports and Analysis

·         Ad hoc non-technical support

·         Support software tools and automation efforts

Reporting Prerequisites:

·         Ability to follow customer report formats

·         Proactive in placing tickets to software vendors if issues are encountered

• Expert in Microsoft Office 
• Experience with Visual Basic and Microsoft Macros
• Knowledgeable in Mapinfo, Google Maps and Google Earth
• Microsoft Office Certification is desirable

• Experience with LTE, UTMS and CDMA KPIs
• Knowledgeable in different collection software (TEMS, Seehawk, NEMO, QXDM, LML etc.)

iBwave Prerequisites:

·         Knowledgeable in DAS and Macro designs

·         Able to troubleshoot and find solutions to meet customer compliance thresholds

·         Detailed oriented, efficient and deliverable driven

·         Ability to communicate concerns and suggestions

·         Basic understanding of site surveying

·         Understand design criteria’s base on venue capacity and overall size

• Experience with different OEMs (Commscope, ADRF, Cell-Fi, Zinwave, etc)

Experience and Qualifications:

·         BE/B.Tech Electronics and Communication/Computer Science/Electrical Engineering with min 2 years of experience in wireless engineering.

·         Very strong Communication skills, both written and verbal.

·         Able to work outside of normal hours if needed to meet customers’ deliverables

·         Detailed oriented, efficient and deliverable driven

·         Willing to work in US Shifts including weekends (As and when required).

·         Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. MS Access is a plus.

·         Knowledge of Excel Macro is desired

·         Proficiency in MapInfo.

·         Experience with wireless voice and data networks based in the following technologies: UMTS, CDMA, EVDO, LTE and VoLTE.

·         Has used WindCatcher, Actix, TEMS Discovery

·         Have a basic comprehension of standards-based wireless air interfaces.

·         Experience with various RF data collection tools and post processing tools (e.g. Accuver, TEMS, JDSU, WirelessMetrix, WindCatcher, Actix, etc.)

·         Experience with wireless voice and data networks based in the following technologies: UMTS, CDMA, EVDO, LTE and VoLTE.

·         Good understanding of data networking concepts and protocols (IP, PPP, TCP)

·         Experience with system performance drive tests including cell site shakedown/ verification, cluster or market benchmark drive tests, and/or CW tests.

·         Understanding of wireless network operational measures such as BER, FER, Call Processing, Call Statistics, C/I, data latency and throughput.

Proficiency in MapInfo.
