Prept (www.prept.co) is an online platform that connects job seekers with industry professionals to conduct one-on-one online video conference mock interviews. Job seekers get prepared for their next big interviews, and our mock interviewers get paid for their help and time.  

We are a new startup that is currently in beta, and we are currently registering Mock Job Interviewers. We're looking for industry professionals to help job seekers prepare for their job interviews.  This is a freelance position that can help you earn some extra money -- all while helping other job seekers improve their interviewing skills. You can be located anywhere in the US.

• You must have prior experience conducting job interviews.  Our best interviewers have conducted many job interviews in the past for their previous or current employers.  At a minimum, you should have conducted at least 5 interviews in the past.
• You must have a genuine interest in helping and coaching others. 
• You must be great at providing feedback and encouragement to job seekers -- particularly young professionals and people changing industries.
• You should have 5+ years of professional work experience in your industry.  We are accepting interviewers from every industry, but you should be able to provide insights into how to land a job in your industry.
• To conduct interviews on Prept, you must have access to a computer with a webcam and microphone (preferably a headset) and a good, reliable internet connection. 
• Since interviews are conducted online, you can be located anywhere in the US.
• To become an interviewer, you must have a LinkedIn account so we can validate your relevant experience.  Do not send a resume.
• Our users' interests cover almost every industry and position.  You should be deeply familiar with your industry, but you can come from any industry or position.  Here are some of the positions and job functions that our early users have been seeking: management consultant, IT consultant, financial analyst, auditor, accountant, HR specialist, payroll specialist, marketing analyst, social media specialist, business development specialist, journalist, web developer, application developer, database administrator, nonprofit administrator, federal contractor, and international development specialist. 

• Our interviewers set their own prices for 30-minute interview sessions.  Average interviewer prices range from $15-$50 for a 30-minute session.
• Our interviewers confirm all of their own interviews and set their own schedules.
• This is not a full-time or part-time employment position. You will only conduct interviews when you receive requests from job seekers and confirm a session.  To receive the most requests, make sure your profile tells job seekers how you can help them.
