Job Description

We are seeking a journey-level CNC Operator to work with Northwood CNC Router in a Broadway Scene Shop. Opportunity to join the IATSE union after a probationary period. Maintaining quality and safety standards; keeping records; maintaining equipment and supplies. This position involves the regular operation of CNC Machines in a Theatrical Scene Shop, working with shop team to lay-out, assemble, and finish all work. Also may program Northwood machines. Water-jet and machine shop experience a plus. 

Note: Position may require irregular and extended work hours.

Qualifications

Experience:

Three years of journey level experience in carpentry and related work. One year of regular CNC router operation required. CNC programming experience preferred. Familiarity with theatrical scenery and terminology preferred.


Education:
High School or Trade School Completion preferred.
