In this role, you will advocate for the best product possible via quality tests and analysis to characterize system performance. You will also be an integral part of a cross-functional team, working with other testers, developers, and product managers. But it doesn’t end there. Here’s a summary of this great opportunity:

Job Description

  • Design and execute reliability tests to analyze a multi-component system:
  •      Verify component integration, identify and quantify bugs
  •      Diagnose system weaknesses/bottlenecks
  •      Characterize system performance
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with electrical, mechanical, and software & firmware engineers      to triage observations
  • Correctly and concisely communicate observations to developers and project managers verbally and via streamlined failure reports
  • Assist with the migration of manual to automated software testing by informing automated test cases and testing automated environment as it is developed
  • Predict and resolve issues expected to arise during the integration of next-generation components
  • Train clinical and customer support staff in troubleshooting techniques

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a physical science. Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Familiar with Matlab and/or Python
  • Able to understand and debug software systems
  • Strong ability to find resources/information needed to resolve issues outside of the person's knowledge base
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills along with strong attention to detail, especially with respect to engineering analysis
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with small, cross-functional teams
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
