Job Description

The UX Designer is responsible for creating front-end code using cutting-edge technologies to support the company’s cloud-based products and its related websites, tools and customer-facing content. In your day-to-day you will work collaboratively with UX team to translate specifications into code. You will also work closely with engineering teams to ensure your code and the experience it conveys is properly integrated into the product.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience developing front-end code.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience developing for B-to-B web applications.

• Knowledge of best-practice solutions for interactive online experiences.

• Responsive, positive attitude under time pressure; ability to thrive in a high-performance work group.

• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: 

A. Develop well-written, front-end code for new product features as well as maintain code and fix defects within the existing code base

B. Apply best-practices and coding patterns to ensure your solutions are maintainable, modular, of high code-quality and work well across browsers and devices

C. Be fluent in popular languages, tools and libraries such as HTML5, CSS3, JS, AngularJS, Node, Grunt, Bootstrap, LESS, and D3

D. Be familiar with strategies for building high-performance UI against RESTful web services 

E. Work closely with the Engineering team to integrate your code into the larger product, using version control, QA tools, and additional development tools to ensure smooth hand-overs

F. Work collaboratively with visual and interaction designers to understand requirements and deliver expected look and behaviors
