Job Description

The Coordinator, Event Marketing will support PubMatic’s internal and external marketing activities and help execute NTAM based event-programs. Reporting to the Senior Director, Event Marketing, this position will contribute to long term marketing strategies and campaigns, program development, and facilitate the execution of events; including but not limited to: conferences, trade shows, roadshows, executive meetings, cocktail parties, etc. The Event Marketing Coordinator will be tasked with researching and securing venues, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting with event marketing, event invitations, registration and backend site maintenance, updating and maintaining our events calendars and overall event assistance. Using a results-oriented approach, this person will generate creative ideas to further enhance PubMatic events as well as the company’s presence at industry events and help to drive the overall positioning and value proposition of the company. This role is currently remote, but will be based in New York City.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Work with the Events team to produce a wide range of events including webinars, conferences, and both in-person and virtual client events.  
  • Manage the contracting process internally with finance and legal teams 
  • Manage event calendars, schedule external meetings, process invoices  
  • Support event marketing strategy and logistics, including the creation and oversight of timelines; venue selection; catering, photography, décor, lighting and sound; talent transportation; marketing materials; set-up and run-of-show; and contracts and billing 
  • Support logistics regarding event sponsorships and other industry initiatives 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, venues and partners 
  • Promote events to different audiences via digital, print and social media channels 
  • Collaborate with sales teams to develop invitation lists and follow-up plans to ensure our events reach the right audiences 
  • Work with members of the marketing team to create event marketing collateral, campaigns, social promotions and design 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of marketing and event coordination experience with project management skills 
  • Experience in digital advertising industry preferred 
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: the ability to communicate and liaise effectively and diplomatically with colleagues, vendors, and consultants 
  • Results oriented, highly organized, with great attention to detail 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task 
  • Skilled in marketing automation programs: Salesforce, Splash, and event management platforms, and Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, MS Forms) 
  • Bachelor’s Degree
