Job Description

We're looking for a detail oriented, inquisitive, results-driven Inventory Quality Analyst to join the team responsible for ensuring PubMatic continues to offer high quality inventory.

You will be responsible for ingesting quality related data from multiple sources, creating reports and actionable intelligence with which supply quality policy can be enforced. You will work directly with customer facing account teams to address supply quality issues that our publishers may experiencing (as surfaced by internal findings/data, publisher-initiated issues, or buyer concerns).

As your experience and knowledge grows, you’ll provide feedback to the product team to help improve inventory quality features and reporting and will engage directly with customers who need inventory quality expertise to address issues. Reporting to the Sr. Director of Marketplace Quality, you’ll play a key role in driving PubMatic’s continued high level of inventory quality offered to our buyers.

Responsibilities: 

  • ·         Managing fraud reporting, pulled from multiple sources, and enforcing policies which determine when inventory must stop monetizing based on this reporting.
  • ·         Develop expertise in 1st and 3rd party tools to become an expert in Inventory Quality.
  • ·         Assist in troubleshooting with and acting as a resource for various teams as you become a subject matter expert.
  • ·         With departmental management, review sites, apps, and other inventory for approval on the PubMatic network.
  • ·         Learn to field questions about Inventory Quality from diverse internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Highly skilled in Excel.
  • A quick learner, self-starter, and team player.
  • Inquisitive problem solving skills, and the ability to dig into unexpected situations and problems in a systematic and logical manner.
  • Assertive communication style to strongly represent IQ policy positions.
  • A positive attitude and an interest in learning and advancing a career in inside sales.
  • An individual who doesn’t fear rejection and never shies away from asking questions.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evergreen environment.
  • Familiarity with technology and technical workflows, ideally with a history in technical troubleshooting. Proficiency with Salesforce, JIRA, SQL, and web crawling technologies are pluses. Experience in advertising technology in an Advertising Operations, Client Success, or Sales role is a large plus.
  • Comfort interacting with and supporting co-workers at all levels of the organization, from entry level to executive level, including a willingness to stand by departmental principles.
  • Ability to interact with teams of varying technological skill levels, from novices to engineers.

Return to Office: PubMatic employees throughout the global have returned to our offices via a hybrid work schedule (3 days “in office” and 2 days “working remotely”) that is intended to maximize collaboration, innovation, and productivity among teams and across functions. All PubMatic employees in the US and India are required to be fully vaccinated to return to our offices. Covid-19 boosters are not required at this point in time.
