Job Description

Online Video defined as all modes of short-form video across platforms and devices has been one of the fastest-growing media channels giving rise to explosive growth in advertiser budgets directed towards video format. PubMatic is looking for a dynamic business leader to continue growing and scaling our global programmatic Video business. As the Senior Director of Video, you will be responsible for strategy definition, operational execution, internal and external evangelization, and global scaling of online video while managing high performing cross-functional teams.


Responsibilities:

  • Refine business strategy for Video monetization solutions based on market opportunity, customer needs, our product capabilities, and competitive differentiation. Understand global and regional market needs.
  • Provide support to Video sellers and Customer Success leaders around the world to acquire and scale publisher customers.
  • Partner with the global Product and Engineering organization to provide input into our Video roadmap and prioritization of product capabilities.
  • Provide support to Ad Solutions team with buyer pitches and collateral, as needed, to capture agency/advertiser video-related budgets.
  • Partner with Product Marketing on developing and refining our market messaging and positioning, competitive battle cards, and other sales enablement materials. Support customer advocacy efforts.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to evangelize PubMatic’s offering to the external ecosystem and internal constituencies, assist in training our global go-to-market organization, and support developer-oriented marketing campaigns.
  • Work collaboratively with regional Video leaders on strategy alignment, supporting them with local product and resource requirements.
  • Represent PubMatic at the industry events and other externally facing thought leadership opportunities.
  • Be willing to travel globally up to 30% of the time* to drive key customer/prospect interactions, product engagement, and internal knowledge sharing

Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of the Video programmatic advertising technologies, ecosystem of partners, Video publisher and buyer needs, and pain points.
  • Deep understanding of the ecosystem from the publisher perspective, buyer perspective or both
  • Established Rolodex and relationships across the Video ecosystem (Premium video publishers, media agency executives, technology vendors)
  • Strong expertise (10+ years) in programmatic advertising, with a deep background in all of the fundamentals of programmatic trading
  • Demonstrated track record of establishing and scaling global businesses and teams
  • A collaborative approach to problem-solving to work effectively in a cross-functional role
  • Proven success in a fast-paced and fast-changing environment
  • Ability to travel to drive PubMatic's global agenda (up to 30% travel maybe required)*
