Job Description

We are immediately hiring a self-starting Accounts Payable Manager to join our team in Redwood City on a hybrid schedule.

Reporting to the Assistant Controller, this role is significantly involved in the daily activities of the accounting department including:

  • Manage the full-cycle accounts payable processing for US and international subsidiaries with a continuous mandate to identify potential process improvements
  • Manage and train worldwide AP team
  • Maintain and update, as appropriate, corporate accounts payable policies, systems and procedures to comply with SOX requirements
  • Lead the procure-to-pay cycle by adhering to corporate policies
  • Meet AP deadlines while ensuring that payables transactions are being coded accurately and processed efficiently for close periods
  • Own vendor onboarding and relationship management including resolving issues, payment discrepancies, ensuring all vendors are paid per contractual terms, issuance of 1099's, etc
  • Drive accountability to ensure bills, purchase orders, payment runs, and expense reports are processed timely and accurately
  • Coordinate with internal and external parties to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the monthly accrual journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Manage company travel policy and expenses via Concur Expense
  • Manage global company credit card program
  • Provide support for internal and external audit and other ad-hoc projects

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of AP experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP
  • NetSuite preferred or large ERP system
  • Exceptional communication skills that provide the ability to interact with all levels of the organization with a high customer service orientation
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment

Compensation and Benefits
Base Compensation Range: $130,000 - $140,000

In accordance with applicable law, the above salary range provided is PubMatic’s reasonable estimate of the base salary for this role. The actual amount may vary, based on non-discriminatory factors such as location, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities. In addition to salary PubMatic also offers a bonus, restricted stock units and a competitive benefits package.

Return to Office: PubMatic employees around the world have returned to our offices via a hybrid work schedule (3 days “in office” and 2 days “working remotely”) that is intended to maximize collaboration, innovation, and productivity among teams and across functions.  All PubMatic employees in the US and India are required to be fully vaccinated to return to our offices.  Covid-19 boosters are not required at this point in time.
