Job Description

Core Platform team powers various products that are used by 1000s of PubMatic’s external and internal customers to onboard new inventory, manage access rights, promote customer self-serve through efficient and intuitive workflows and drive user efficiency through automation. Additionally, team also drives platform framework innovations that are leveraged by various PubMatic products.   

An ideal candidate would be highly strategic, motivated, and a self-starter with a solid track record of launching successful products and driving business outcomes. The candidate would have a full spectrum of product management skills that includes problem identification, assessing key problems worth solving, understanding customers’ needs and expectations, assessing competition and addressable opportunities, making data-driven decisions, and collaborating with various departments to drive the successful delivery and product adoption.  

Responsibilities:  

  • Show ownership and accountability for the end-to-end product life cycle to drive business outcomes independently. 
  • Closely interact with internal and external users, and product teams globally to identify user problems and build creative platform solutions that are generic, scalable, viable, and usable. 
  • Constantly analyze market and product trends, and perform market and competitive research. 
  • Define the vision and strategy for Core Platform. Articulate the same to get stakeholders' buy-in. 
  • Develop solid roadmap and execute by working with cross-functional teams of UX and engineering across the company 
  • Collaborate with global and cross-functional GTM stakeholders to come up with GTM plans, launch the product, measure success and iterate.   

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of Product Management experience, ideally in Ad Tech domain.  

  • Solid Experience building and managing products from ideation to launch and eventual user adoption. 

  • Computer Science/Engineering or Information Technology background is preferred. 

  • Experience building platform and technical products is preferred. 

  • Experience building internet products and familiarity with internet technologies. 

  • Experience working and executing effectively in a global environment.

Return to Office: PubMatic employees throughout the global have returned to our offices via a hybrid work schedule (3 days “in office” and 2 days “working remotely”) that is intended to maximize collaboration, innovation, and productivity among teams and across functions. All PubMatic employees in the US and India are required to be fully vaccinated to return to our offices. Covid-19 boosters are not required at this point in time.
