Job Description

PubMatic is looking for a Client Services Partner (CSP) to join our  Advertiser Solutions team in Tokyo and work closely with the APAC demand team in order to offer support and develop the relationships with our programmatic demand partners at agencies and advertisers.

The Advertiser Solutions team at PubMatic is focused on advertisers needs and making programmatic the best advertising channel for them to use. CSP is a fundamental part of the Advertiser Solutions team and is focused on growing agency and advertiser relationships by delivering best-in-class customer service.

The CSP is responsible for supporting agency relationships within the PubMatic platform as well as working with current partners and internal teams to fulfill their business needs and optimize their potential for our publishers.

The ideal candidate is a quick and autonomous learner who displays excellent communication skills, project management skills, and thinks creatively to solve client challenges. Ideally, we look for candidates with a background in linear TV, know the CTV landscape, and are eager to join an advertising technology company.

In this role you will serve in a proactive role in monitoring, tracking, and delivering programmatic executions, including reporting, assessing performance and optimizing accordingly. This role will also lead troubleshooting for various technical issues that may arise with demand partners while championing PubMatic’s platform capabilities.

The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellent account management within a digital media or tech role.

Responsibilities

  • Be a trusted point of contact for clients and internal asks and will ensure responses are handled in a timely manner
  • Build and maintain close working relationships with multiple internal departments with a strong understanding for internal cross-functional communication/collaboration
  • Work with teams both internal and external to drive business goals and help our clients exceed their KPIs.  This includes: 
    • Dealing with troubleshooting and reporting 
    • Optimization best practices
  • Support the team through various activities including quarterly business reviews, and direct client management 
  • Proactively provide strategic recommendations to existing clients to help upsell/drive incremental revenue growth for PubMatic
  • Develop a strong understanding of PubMatic’s tech along with media solutions/products and will use this knowledge to demonstrate PubMatic value to clients
  • Attend industry events and conferences to network and grow your industry knowledge

Qualifications

  • 4-6 years applicable experience in either Account Management, Client Services, Sales or Business Development roles in the AdTech industry, linear TV or CTV programmatic industry
  • Proficiency in Excel with a proven ability to convey data and analysis to drive business
  • Strong presentation (Including PowerPoint) and negotiation skills
  • Fluent Japanese and English languages are necessary for this role

Nice to have:

  • Relevant experience includes: publishers, ad network / sales house, SSPs, ad exchanges, DSPs and ad agencies
  • Exposure to and familiarity with Programmatic eco-system and industry at large 
  • Knowledge of programmatic buying and selling including: pricing models, optimization tactics, audience trends and buying technologies
  • Data Visualization experience with tools such as Looker, Tableau, PowerBI
