Job Description
The Communications Director is responsible for making an indelible mark on Team One's brand awareness, influence and reputation as a leading premium and luxury brand agency. Based in Team One's LA office, this individual will work closely with the agency's executive leaders and communications leads to generate programs for executive visibility, media relations and agency communications including social media and PR. This position will report to Publicis Creative's Executive Vice President of Agency Communications and plays an integral role within the Publicis Creative Agency Communications team.

- Be the trusted go-to expert and agency champion for internal agency leadership
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement results-oriented communication and marketing programs to advance Team One's awareness and creative reputation in the marketplace.
- Monitor and report on campaign success, providing insightful recommendations for optimization and improvement to achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify low-hanging fruit opportunities and moonshot ideas for reputation growth.
- Execute executive visibility and thought leadership programs, with a focus on shepherding external speaking, media and award opportunities that showcase our expertise.
- Managing agency presence at major events like SXSW, CES, Cannes; organizing the contingent, developing panels and speaking opportunities, gaining visibility while on site.
- Lead efforts for Team One's social channels, including community management, content creation and content planning.
- Reinforce the agency's brand identity and ensure consistency across all channels.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Publicis Groupe's creative agency communications team to leverage key skills and strengthen partnerships within the network.
- Achieve media relations success by pitching stories effectively and building and maintaining relationships with market influencers and key members of the media.
- Own reputation leadership internally by proactively working with all agency departments to source news, content and stories that become thought leadership demonstrations of Team One's expertise and culture.
- Be at the forefront of media and industry conversations to effectively insert Team One into news cycles and make Team One a go-to for thought leadership for industry influencers, reporters and media.
- Draft compelling press releases and prepare information for the media to promote Team One and our clients.
- Prep executives by drafting speech outlines, suggest recommended support points and schedule interviews for speaking engagements, press relations and media opportunities.
- Prepare and edit materials for promotional content including employee newsletters, social media content and internal stakeholder presentations.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in agency communications and marketing.
- Highly curious and driven to create and execute stories; build ideas, ask lots of questions, connect dots, draft storylines.
- LA based, with the ability to be in-office three days a week (hybrid).
- Strong understanding of the advertising industry and the role of marketing within it.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful communications programs.
- Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to partner across an organization to generate news, content and ideas.
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to measure and report effectiveness.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to proactively build and maintain relationships internally and externally.
- Strong media relationships with national and trade media
- Ability to craft and execute effective media pitches
- Attention to detail
- Action-driven and a self-starter. A doer who is willing to take chances, learn and adjust.
- Social media savvy providing knowledge and trends to leverage to the agency's advantage.

Compensation Range: $70,000.00 - $117,500.00 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
