Technologies:  Java / Spring Boot, Reactive programming, Embedded unit test, Linux, AWS, Containers, Microservices, Spring, Reactor, Redis, Splunk/ELK, Terraform, Concourse CI/CD, NoSQL  

Responsibilities:       

• Translate high-level requirements to actionable tasks/deliverables.
• Produce high-quality software that is unit-tested, code review, and continuously integrated.
• Collaborate with QA in test planning and test coverage.
• Collaborate with DevOps and CI/CD in operational visibility, triaging incidents, and deployment planning.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering with software development and deployment experience or equivalent work experience. 
• Must have 3+ years of experience building RESTful microservices using Java, Spring Boot, etc.
• Must have experience with Unit testing using JUnit, Mockito, etc., and experience using static code analysis tools
• Must have experience or familiarity with Reactive Programming, Spring WebFlux, Hydra Framework, etc.
• Must have knowledge or familiarity with DevOps tools like Concourse, Jenkins, Ansible, Terraform, etc., and should collaborate with DevOps teams for builds, deployments, and additional infrastructure setup.
• Must be knowledgeable on cloud technologies such as AWS or equivalent (Azure, GCP)
• Must be familiar with NoSQL databases and query languages
• Should be able to have a good understanding of securing data in transit and at rest
• Ambitious and highly motivated to deliver outstanding solutions with minimal mentorship.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills and experience in monitoring, alerting and distributed tracing.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Should be flexible to understand the technology dynamics and be adaptable using assigned tools/technologies.
• Strong technical written and verbal communication skills.
• A sense of ownership, initiative, drive, and a love of learning!
