Company Description

We work for a local technology solutions provider and IT outsourcing company. The company places IT professionals with medium to large companies in the Boston and New England area. They are looking to hire a Lead ETL Developer for a full time, multi-year, contract opportunity based in Quincy, MA.   The Lead ETL Developer will design, develop and maintain an Oracle data warehouse with ETL processes using Informatica. Job Description

Compensation: W-2 w/benefits or C2C/1099 is available for this position. 


Key Technical Skills:   Strong development skills in - Informatica, Oracle PL/SQL 


Responsibilities for this position include: 

  • Interpret customer requests and take appropriate action to produce high levels of customer satisfaction that are balanced with business needs
  • Work effectively on a global team with product managers and offshore development engineers, and leading a small team of offshore developers.
  • Develop functional requirements document based on client requirements.
  • Expertise in data warehouse design and implementation
  • Experienced in standard SDLC development processes including Waterfall and Agile
  • Planning and working flexibly to a deadline
  • Participate in full lifecycle software development
  • Work with Business Analysts in translating business requirements into high level functional design specification
  • Make best design and implementation decisions to ensure quality and efficiency
  • Develop applications and features at the direction of the client and/or architects
  • Conduct project design reviews and code reviews
  • Respond to technical direction from Lead Software Architect
  • Provide technical design support to Lead Software Architect and managers

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5+ years Informatica Development experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of Oracle and PL/SQL experience
  • 5+ years development experience in full life-cycle development
  • Ability to write stored procedures and design schemas
  • Functional knowledge of three tier systems
  • Skilled in Unix and Linux operating environments and Unix/Linux Scripting
  • Strong analytical orientation
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly responsible
  • Must be a fast learner and multi-tasker.
  • Strong academic record – Minimum Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s preferred
