We work for a local technology solution provider and IT outsourcing company. The Company provides IT and Process Outsourcing services to clients in the New England area primarily focusing in the financial services industry. They are currently seeking a Sr .Net Developer for a full time, multi-year, contract opportunity based at their client’s offices in Quincy, MA.  This is a W-2 salary role to include benefits and 401k; salary will commensurate with experience.

 Key Technical Skills:   - .NET, C#, VBA, VSTO, VB.NET, IIS, JavaScript, CSS, SQL, Java, XML, XSLT

Responsibilities for this position include:

• Work effectively on a global team with product managers and offshore development engineers, and onshore/offshore developers.
• Develop features across multiple subsystems within our applications, including collaboration in requirements definition, prototyping, design, coding, testing and deployment. 
  
• Defining and managing multiple priorities and leading a team of offshore engineers
• Planning and working flexibly to a deadline
• Participate in full lifecycle software development
• Work with Business Analysts in translating business requirements into high level functional design specification
  
• Make best design and implementation decisions to ensure quality and efficiency
• Develop applications and features at the direction of the client and/or architects
• Conduct project design reviews and code reviews
  
• Respond to technical direction from Lead Software Architect
  
• Provide technical design support to Lead Software Architect and managers
  

• Minimum 6+ years .NET Development experience
  
• Minimum 6+ years of VBA, VSTO, VB.NET experience
  
• 6+ years development experience in full life-cycle development
  
• Functional knowledge of three tier systems
• Strong academic record – Minimum Bachelor’s Degree/Master’s preferred
• Strong IT understanding
• Strong analytical orientation
• Excellent communication skills
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, and highly responsible
  
• Must be a fast learner and multi-tasker.
