Job Description

The person selected for this role will work as part of a team of security engineers responsible for project based and operational security activities for McAfee ePO and other technologies of the McAfee security family working closely with the customer’s IT security team.

Responsibilities include:
  • Managing and monitoring software packages using McAfee modules in accordance with organization’s processes and procedures.
  • Assists in defining security standard operation procedures and processes.
  • Contributes to the development and maintenance of the cyber security strategy.
  • Delivers a leadership role in providing network and system security advice and risk analysis to business units who engage with the Cyber Security team.
  • Contributes to the property Threat and Vulnerability Management team to ensure a well-defined program operates to identify, risk rate, and track vulnerabilities to remediation.
  • Contributes to the property Security Intelligence team to ensure security threat information, system log information, and sources of external intelligence are combined to provide real time response to cyber events.

Qualifications

  • 2-4 years of providing platform management and support of the McAfee family of security products like ePO, endpoint solutions and threat intelligence exchange.
  • 6-10 years working in IT Secuity.
  • Solid Threat and Vulnerability Management experience with the ability to identify, risk rate, report and track vulnerabilities to remediation.
  • Strong ability to Document security process/procedures
  • Work with customers to assist with technical security escalations demonstrating excellent customer service skills as well as very strong written and verbal communications skills.
  • Experience working in a large, geographically dispersed environment is a major plus.
  • Must have completed formal McAfee product Training.
  • Must have current CISSP or CISM certification or equivalent security certification.

Additional Information

Mid to Senior Level

Needed 2-4 years experience working with McAfee and a security certification.  You do not need to be certified in McAfee.  Must have at least 6 years working within IT Security.
