Our client, one of the top 20 CPA firms in the region who is a growing regional full-service business consulting, accounting, auditing and tax public accounting firm, has asked us to assist in their efforts to recruit for a Mid-Senior Level Staff Accountant with 3 to 6 years public accounting experience specializing in accounting and auditing.

Responsibilities include:

3-6 years public accounting experience with a focus in accounting and auditing.  The candidate will be responsible for performing audits, reviews and compilation engagements, as well as tax return preparation services.  A CPA license is preferred but not required.   

• BS/BA Accounting, CPA license preferred but not required
  
• 3 - 6 years public accounting firm experience with accounting and audit focus
• Experience with nonprofit, government contractors and/or mortgage lending a plus
• Be a team player and willing to roll up their sleeves if needed
• Proactive problem solver
  
• Must have strong analytical skills, excellent detail orientation and be a team player
  
• Solid communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Experience with ProSystem fx Tax and ProSystem fx Engagement a plus.
